Music Teacher Bio For Vicky Grossi

Vicky Grossi is an intelligent, inspiring, and fantastic instructor. She has her music degree from UC Berkeley in viola and started her studies on violin, both of which she also teaches. Her student adore her and the musically minded community that they become a part of when they take lessons at this studio. She has played with members of Tower of Power, Santana, Buddy Guy Band, The Headhunters, Lakeside, Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, and three Grammy Nominees. Her other personal interests include writing music for horror films, recording avante/electronica (strange dance music), and hiking up hillsides.

Musically Minded studio offers lessons in violin, viola, electric bass, clarinet, flute, saxophone and piano. Students study privately with one instructor each week and also attend monthly group events. There are two annual recitals, 2 performance parties, and 5 themed classes per year. Students also get access to our music library including sheet music and audio recordings, as well as computer education programs.
